Arnav Dasrath

A former Grade 12 pupil from Eden College Durban, Arnav Dasrath is the founder of Linking Arms. Over his high school career he has been involved in many service and humanitarian projects that entailed giving back to the community. He was formerly on the board of the Durban Youth Council as the Director of Health. He was the President of his school interact club where the core objective is community service and also lead his school as the deputy head boy of Eden College in 2022.

His vision to establish Linking Arms stemmed from his eagerness to empower, and provide guidance and mentorship to scholars who lack the resources to achieve their dreams. At the end of Grades 10 and 11, Arnav was awarded the Van Wyk award for service and was awarded honors for Service at the end of matric. He is currently a third-year medical student at the University of Kwazulu Natal and hopes to continue positively impacting many lives along the way. He is a very driven 20-year-old who has a high level of conscientiousness and is committed to achieving his goals.
